The Element In The Room – A Radioactive Comedy – 21st November 2015 – Chatham

Scientrilogy-Marie-Curie-2

Fresh from the Edinburgh Festival, The Element in The Room is a comedy based around the life story of Marie Curie, performed by Tangram Theatre Company.

Marie Curie’s story is a tale of of glowing powders with extraordinary powers, lives saved and destroyed, and unparalleled achievements in the face of unbelievable odds.

Join us for an adventurous musical-comedy-road-movie that follows Marie’s real-life journey across the USA to collect a single gram of radium to continue her research.

Featuring incredible scientific breakthroughs, very silly songs and an audience-participation radioactive decay chain, this is an exuberant celebration of the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, whose work continues to affect our lives today.

The Element in the Room… is the final installment of Tangram Theatre Companies, comedy musical trilogy and premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer.
