“We are really excited about this season and can’t wait to present the work this October” says Keely Augustus, Director of Lyrici Arts. “It’s fantastic to be partnering with The Brook Theatre and to have the opportunity to place the festival under the roof of this historical building. We are delighted to be able to work with local artists and new audiences, and that we’re able to bring high quality shows and activities to everyone close to their home. We’d like to extend a big thank you to Medway Council Theatre Team, and Medway Council Arts Team for all of their support this season. “
Cllr Howard Doe, Portfolio Holder for Community Services at Medway Council, said: “We are delighted that the Paint the Town Festival will be held at The Brook Theatre. The theatre, which has just had a £415,000 facelift, is a vital venue in the heart of Medway and we are pleased is it being used to host a week of touring theatre shows, public workshops, kids activities and showcase opportunities.
