Yarn Shop Day For The Oliver Fisher Baby Unit – Saturday 12th May 2018 – ArtyCat – Rochester

ArtyCat at Francis Iles is thrilled to be taking part in Yarn Shop Day again and will be holding a “Sit, Knit and Natter” at 104 High Street, Rochester, Kent so KEEP THE DATE FREE and come along and join in!

The theme this year is Premature Babies and they would love you to join in supporting the Oliver Fisher Premature Baby Unit at Medway Hospital. They will provide free knitting patterns for hats, booties and mittens so please come along and let them help you get underway. Adults of all ages and abilities welcome and you can always take your item home with you and continue it there if you don’t manage to finish it with us. You can just pop it back when you are finished and they will ensure that all the beautiful knitwear is delivered safely to Oliver Fisher Ward. Experts will be on hand, to help you and offer advice with any knitting queries you may have and they will also be holding a raffle to raise funds for the ward too.

There will be free-flowing tea and coffee, but why not help ArtyCat become more eco-friendly by bringing your favourite mug along – there will be additional biscuits for anyone that does!!

If there are any queries or if you are a Knitting Genius and would like to come along and offer your support and advice to others, please message via their Facebook page

ArtyCat look forward to welcoming you between 10am-4pm on Saturday 12th May 2018.
