But the Affordable Art Fair isn’t just about buying art. The Education Programme offers a whole host of free activities to give you the chance to get involved.

Inspired by years of conversation and months of collaboration, a team of 101 advocates are now inspired towards an exciting coworking space opportunity. This month you’re invited to participate in a vision, fueled by coffee and inspiration, you are welcomed to explore a rather special 161 High Street space in central Rochester.

Please do come along, we really want to hear what you think! What should we create for you?

Tuttle will run for a fixed period between 12:30-2:30pm because of other activities happening in the venue on the day, but please do check the limited availability for an opportunity to extend your exploration into the later afternoon and evening.

Mini-Residency on a Lightship Available

Applications are invited from artists to participate in a mini-residency on LV21, a lightship moored off Gillingham Pier in Kent.

Taking place over three days in March and April, artists will collaborate in responding to the space, generating new work and conversations about practising in public. On the third day, the public will be invited to come on board and see the work made, and join in the conversation.

In 2009 I had the “privilege” of queuing for 5 hours to see Banksy’s take over at Bristol museum. I was really pleased to have been able to see the exhibition but when an underground artist becomes a worldwide household name it leaves us craving fresh underground art.

Enter “The Fastener” who’s real name I shall leave you to try and find out. “The Fastener” tags various locations with knitted graffiti leaving behind random knitted objects and art pieces. Labeled by the artist as “Guerilla knitting” this is a fresh type of artwork that is something to keep a close eye on as well as being inspirational.

First Episode Of Web Drama “Self Centered” By Kent Writer Steven Keevil Released

The first web episode of “Self Centered” starring Eastenders star Kellie Shirley has just been released online. The series is written by Kent writer Steven Keevil, Directed by Kevin Proctor and Produced by Tamana Bleasdale and follows the life of a young depressed actress who seemingly has a new purpose in life given to her when she wakes up in a rehab clinic in the future.

Each episode of the series will be released over the next 6 weeks and are available to watch in HD through “You tube” at:
